Bio
Dr. Connie T. Jones is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). She earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Virginia Tech and her M.S.W. from Virginia Commonwealth University. Alongside clinical practice, Dr. Jones serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling & Educational Development at UNC-Greensboro.
She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapy with clients navigating substance use disorders, severe and persistent mental illness, reentry/offender-related challenges, and life stage concerns for adolescents and older adults. Grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and strength-based care, she builds collaborative therapeutic relationships that empower clients to make meaningful change.
